Face to face with a Burrowing Owl

About two years ago, I was birdwatching in a farm near home when I saw this beautiful Burrowing Owl (Athene cunicularia) on the top of a pole. I approached very carefully to get as close as possible, and it let me stay about 8ft. (2.5 meters). This video shows a bit of the behavior of the owl.
