One of the most beautiful travels in Norway (heading to Lofoten Islands) on the ferry

After getting to the ferry; barely in time, we enjoyed a three and a half hour ride on the way from Bodoe to Lofoten Islands. Here is what we saw...

It was 7pm and the sun still high up in the sky. In fact, the sun barely sets at midnight, before coming up again slightly thereafter and Lofoten is a great place to witness this (although we weren't there yet).

It was quite windy on the boat and a fresh reminder that we are now in Norway and not in the big smoke (Beijing)

Along the way, we stopped by some beautiful islands with a few nice, colorful buildings.

I had forgotten how majestic and dramatic the nature in Norway is, the pictures don't even really make the scenery justice!!

Danielle was also happy to be frolicking on the boat

SO, that was our trip on the ferry... Next up will be some actual Lofoten photos, from a fishing trip, our family's cabin and more!
