Rare picture of an insured hyena!

This hyene we discovered close to lions which were on a kill. Probably the hyena tried to steal some of the kill and got caught by a lion. Sometimes it however also happens that hyenas fight underneath each other for a piece of meat. We do not know but the picture is very special. I had not one similar one of of a hyena in 10 years. Bloody ears and a looking straight at me...
