Mountain mist
If this picture was taken in the northern hemisphere, perhaps, be presumed that the peak was snow covered. But it never occurred to the mountain located in the northernmost tip of Sumatra island. The mountain was shrouded in mist just after a heavy rain fell in the evenly places in Aceh. However, the form of fog that covered the mountain peaks as seen it, is something rare. I took this picture in Kuta Malaka, Aceh Besar Regency.
The mountain itself called the mountain seulawah, the most famous mountain in Aceh. That volcanic mountain is a landmark for the Aceh land. From the sea and the valley of Aceh, it would seem very prominent. In some ancient maps, it is also called the golden mountain. Seulawah also often used as a brand for a variety of food production which is typical of Aceh. But most people know, the name of this mountain has been immortalized for the first aircraft owned by the Indonesian state. The Aircraft was named Seulawah 001, and is a gift from the people of Aceh to Indonesia.
