I love you analysis. Sadly, we are in a world full of people who only care about money and not sustainability. They are happy to enjoy and do kinds of things without minding about future generations.
Thank you, @kayondo, and your comment is exactly why I think crypto and Steemit could make a big difference. It can influence behaviour at the individual wallet level, as it were.
And as I mentioned, the Montreal Protocol effectively got us to stop using aerosols. We're busy rolling out renewable energy faster than you can say "coal". Crypto is creeping (slowly) into the mainstream. The context is changing around people, and that has the potential to change behaviour at a system level. Or not. But with sound applied systems thinking, there's the ghost of a possibility of a chance we might choose better paths as a species.
