Mjøsa is Norways larges lake, as well as one of the deepest with a length of 117 km and max dept 449 m. The lake is surrounded of farmland and green wooded hils. Some images from todays travel to Lillehammer, a town in the north end of the lake.

Visited Mjosa (stayed in Hamar) in January 2017... Sadly I didn't get to swim in it since we had a really tight schedule. But Norway is magical in the dark and all the sunset/sunrises! :)

Yes, the lake usually freezes in the winter time. I guess most people take their boats up from the water in the winter time.
