Thank you Jan for your weekend replies to my posts, it was very nice to know more about the places that you posted on your photographs. I love Norway, it's nature. Yesterday we watched a documentary "Scandinavian from above", and it was a part of course about fjords and ferry that travels up there, one of them had a name "nordkapp Narvik" I immediately thought that it might visit the area where you live. Also they mentioned Midsummer fest that celebrating many northern nations and it is “Sankt Hans Aften” in Norway and Denmark. The pictures today look like in my child's memory about fairy tales. I love the most the second picture with a little gate. For children it must be real fun to be able to play in snow. I have not been to Norway yet, but it is on my to do list, as to bridge Rombaksbrua I saw it on map it looked quite solid and long. You mentioned about polar nights, is it soon over. The people might wait with anticipation for day light.
Hello stef. Thank you so much for curiosity. Now the dark time of the year is over 7 in the morning wee have daylight so it is easier from now. A visit to the north is highly recommended both summer and winter.
