Without wind it's wonderful, not as cold and no noise, just peaceful.
I have been looking at your photos and they are stunning photos of nature. You have some great looking fish and I bet they taste great in that cold clean water.
I live by the sea and love fishing with lines not nets, if i got caught using a net they would take my boat of me.
Living on the east coast of Australia we are prone to strong easterly winds too. But when it's calm you can hear the silince of nature.
We live in two different worlds but yet in one.
When im happiest is with my family, by the water and walking in, and studying our local forest and animals.
Thank you for great comments. Is it not legal to fish with nets in the sea? here in Norway there are only some restrictions on lakes. I think you have a great life down there and yes very different nature from Norway. Have a nice Sunday :)
