Great stuff!!!
Steemit needs more mushrooms!
Sorry I cant help with ID :-(

Thanks for at least checking it out and upvoting! Im new to steemit. Maybe i can bring the mycologists out of hiding :)

I hope so, I love mushrooms especially the Mycorrhizas :-)

Im very interested in teaching a pooch to hunt truffles! Maybe steemit would appreciate a video of THAT!

Do you live in a region where mushrooms grow?

I used to get seasonal depression because of the constant rain in oregon...
Now I immediately think "YAY MUSHROOMS!"
Oh, nature.

Id def enjoy watching that!
Yeah we get some mushrooms around here P cubensis is pretty common haha.
Some people hunt the Pinus forests but I havent done that yet.

Forgive me for not just googling, but what state/region are you in? All of the p. strains are so incredibly popular in my neighboring state of washington, that they made foraging entirely illegal. 🚫
That includes all shrooms too which sucks. I think you can maybe get a permit but fuck the police😂

That is absurd! illegal to pick anything "active" here in Queensland also but pretty sure hunting and picking edibles is fine.

AH you're way across the globe 😂😂 in oregon you can forage "one gallon" of fungi with no permit, but the permit is only like $6 for a week.

One gallon? So vague!!! You could grind up 40 lbs of chanterelles into a gallon, or, if they're whole, you could only fit like 3!

Its also not illegal to have any WET psilocybes, as you are allowed to possess them for scientific research.same with spores and one could literally legally order them online.
Once they become dry however... You could be looking at some jail time depending on just how much you have..

I just love mushrooms for cooking. They're so delicious in so many meals. Ive even gone as far as to make 'chanterelle bacon' by frying strips in garlic salt, and butter, mmmmmmmmmm😈😈😈

do they get you (me) ## HIGH?

The ones in the second to last photo might, but im a bit too nervous of accidentally eating a 'deadly galerina' which looks very similar to most small brown psilocybe mushrooms.

If you wanna be the one to find out though i think we could maybe work that out 😈😈😈😂

a bit late in the response but you should check out @dber, he is one guy who knows alot about mushrooms and he's very humble about it too, probably say he doesn't be he does great posts. great photos thanks for sharing.

I actually managed to already be following them somehow! Thx
