Meet Giant Scops Owl here at the PEC! This little guy was turned over to Philippine Eagle Center some years ago and has been part of our family since.
Giant Scops Owls are endemic to the Philippines and if we're not careful, can also go critically endangered like the Philippine Eagle. They are sadly listed as VULNERABLE by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) due to the destruction of their forest habitat.
