Pinecones Are Magic!
I know somewhere I have heard about the magical qualities of the pinecone. I can’t remember what it was I learned... it was a long time ago! Does anyone know the spiritual powers of the pinecone?

The history of Pinecones and spirituality and magic go back thousands of years.
In many it is a symbol of human enlightenment. In modern esoteric circles and some of the older
spiritual practises it is seen as a plant representation of the penal gland.
Osiris staff has a pinecone head, it is also a representation of kundulani energy life force so to speak.
Dionysus the god of wine and other pleasures has a staff topped with a pine cone as does the catholic pope (but the cone is a connector between the shepherds curl and the staff. in Wicca it is also associated with the queen of witches Aradia if i remember correctly.
The pinecones element is traditionally fire. Shamans and modern witches sometimes use pine cones for divination, and pine oil and/or branches are used to disinfect and ward off evil. associations are - health, joy-love and protection. pinecones are used in fertility magic and are strategically placed as protection in some cultures. Pine nuts (the seeds in the cone) are considered an aphrodisiac , that is all i can remember at the top of my head …
