Caledonian canal walk on the hunt for Loch Ness monsta
Today I walked alongside my favorite place which is not too far from my house The Caledonian Canal that connects loch ness and the see.
It's a masterpiece of engineering, even though it 200 years old.
Some pretty flowers make me think of summer.
The canal has never been used for what it was built for the cargo ships as the industrial revolution made them too big to be able to pass the canal. It's been used by yachts and it's an impressive tourist attraction.
I see the Jacobite cruise taking tourist to see the famous loch ness monster.
The locks, which allow the boats to pass through different water levels, are opening...
Here the boat can sail now.
I can cross the canal on top the locks gate and head back.
In the end, there is a swing bridge that can open as well as the locks for incoming boats.
Thank you for reading see you next time.
