I often think about how our garbage can fills so fast. I feel like I empty it all the time. When I think of why it’s always so full all the time, I realize it’s the plastic that everything comes in. It’s ridiculous! Congrats to you for going a week without plastic, it sounds really tough! But it would be really nice to accomplish!
it was one month experiment! it started as one week, but i continued it :) and i will from now on also. yes, the plastic takes so much space! maybe it is a good idea to recycle it if you are using so much, although i haven't investigated yet how much actually is recyclable! Now that I quit the plastic, and I have a fire burner to burn all the papers and a compost, I have a garbage bag every couple of weeks! :)
