I still hiking in the mountains :-)
Saltvikryggen 503 m. above sea, 5 km.
Today it was quite a lot of wind clear sky and minus 8 degree. Even it was cold we had a nice hike up the mountain. We used snowshoes because the trail go through forest and are hilly up to 450 meters. In this type of terrain it is difficult to use ski. It was to cold to have longer breaks, with the wind i think we had an effective temperature around - 15 degree. We enjoyed the view, eat some dried fruit and went down from the mountain. Even if it was cold our dog Nero managed well and are now relaxing in front of the wood stove :-)

Gorgeous photos! You have about the same temperatures as we do here in Wisconsin except our numbers are in Fahrenheit not Celsius! But unlike you I am enjoying winter through the window! I admire you for being out there!

I guess your body gets acclimated to the cold weather. I took pictures from my car because the temperature was around 30 degrees Fahrenheit. Your pictures are breath taking as usual.

Absolutely gorgeous views and your have managed to capture this moment when the clouds are beautiful pink and yellow. Love it. Nero looks very sportive, I believe because of running a lot around. I can imagine that he might enjoy in front of fire.
