The Calm Before The Storm (or not)
Sitting here in SW Florida. Decided not to evacuate. Probably way too late now anyways. Gas stations seem to all have gas, but now that people are panicking I guess they thought it through twice and figured it was best. I have faith we'll be fine, we have friends staying close by as well. This drop of BTC was good! Bought some back up! Haha. On another note.
Hurricane IRMA (In the Path)
This is where we are! Great. Haha.
- Lots of people still boarding up houses
- Roads are semi-clear, but clearly not on highways
It's all a waiting game now. People can panic if they want, but that wont help. No power for a week after. Full tanks of gas, plenty of water. As prepared mentally as possible. That is what you can do if you stay.
My friend's yard is clean... For now.
Drove to Ft. Lauderdale last week for fun and to test out the new car. Got some pics of the everglades!

Other than stocking up on water, how did you prepare? Did you board up your windows?
Yes. Windows were boarded and trees were trimmed. We lost a big one. Nearly damaged the house. I went to a friends for the storm. His place got flooded by about 4 ft, but that's all garage. There are two stories upstairs.
