Windswept Tree Landscape
Windswept Tree Landscape
A common sight on the South Downs, this windswept tree gives you an idea of what it's like to walk up there in winter i.e it's cold and blustery.
Not so, on this beautiful spring day when this shot was taken. The weather was perfect and the wild flowers were beginning to appear.

Amazing view of landscape
Glad you like it @maanabdullah. Thank you for visiting and leaving a comment. 😊
If you looks at closely this snap may qualify for colorful photography contest too...Look at the different combination of colors, Blue, green, dark green and yellow spread over it..
Nice photograph...
I see what you mean @angelro but I tend to go for a more vibrant palette when it comes to the colourful contest!
Thanks for the comment though! 😁
Yup: I understood. My comment was just to let u know the different color combination:
I too a regular participant in such contests.
Nice to see your response.
Thank you, stay blessed
... The hills are alive...to the sound of music...
That's the second reference in two days, I've had to Julie Andrews, @spozone. Is it a sign I wonder?!! 😂
@gillianpearce,That tree looks very strange. It is his form ? Why?
It's been battered by the wind @madlenfox. It ends up growing in the direction the wind blows. 😊
Thanks for the clarification, @gillianpearce
Very nice photo. lovely sky backdrop. tree reminds me of cypress trees on the California coast. you often find trees permanently swept over from the wind
Thank you @steven-patrick. I'm impressed you know your trees. I could do better on that front! 😊
