RAIN IS ALWAYS A BLESSING
Shooting on days of rain and low light is tough. I am sure I have a ways to go to get exposure down. Not as clear as shots as I would like (I am holding an umbrella). Still a day at the beach watching these brave ones and being in the salt, water and mood of it all actually is refreshing. The Kahu, wise shamans, here in Hawaii say "Rain is always a blessing." There are dozens of Hawaiian names for rain. Depending on what kind it is it has it's own distinction. These are the details and noticing that perhaps brings more awareness, presence and vitality to the journey? I hope so!
The sea is a highway, a journey, a connection and a gift. It is my holy water.
