Bare Feet With Mud Between Fingers

in #nature9 years ago

The easiest physical way of connecting with the nature, apart from being in it, is to walk barefoot. When you are barefoot you are using all your senses to be a part of the nature. You are grounded, rooted, Earthed. It really is a priceless feeling and a free health therapy. Do it!

Today if was our first longer barefoot walk of the year. We walked around eight kilometers in the woods. The paths were muddy because it was raining almost every day in last week.

The mud added another level of closeness to the elements. The feeling of fresh wet mud between your toes is just wonderful.

I was so pleased with mud walking that I recorded a short video

We ended the walk on the meadow with the sculptures. The afternoon storm just started. The grass was knee high and so fresh. Amazing.

Here is the photo of the same sculpture taken a month ago.

I wanted to share today's experience immediately. This photo was published during the walk.

Please read a post #1 You walk about 54,750,000 steps per year! Why I think you now and then should walk barefooted. A photographic series. by @flyasfuq. There are many of us barefoot walkers :)
