Stop bugging me

I have a huge fear of bugs that sting. Bees and wasps can make me run faster than Usain Bolt. As I've mentioned in a previous post, I love nature... But how on earth can someone love nature that much and at the same time being so scared of bugs? Well, let me tell you... It's HARD.

When everyone relaxes laying down enjoying the birds singing, the rustle of leaves and the softness of the wind, you will find me curled-up-but totally cool-looking-on a rock, scanning the area for “enemies”. The slightest bee-sound will make me jump from my seat and run away to save myself. Far, far away.

Friends always tell me “calm down”, “they wont hurt you”, “don't act crazy”, “they wont eat you”. You know what? I DON'T care. Bees are ok... They might chase me for a while but I can easily get out of their way. But wasps! Oh my God! They fly like crazy, they are the Fighting Falcons of the animal kingdom. I believe that they enjoy seeing me that helpless -as well as my friends.

The worst "attack" that Ι've experienced-I have never been stung due to my amazing abilities to escape though-, was while I was canoeing in Plastiras' Lake. The huge wasp-ish creature (it was quite big for a wasp), me and the cold lake. No place to run, to hide, no shelter, no nothing. My only weapons were my hands and my VOICE (insects might be deaf, but hey, we are talking about the human instinct here). My screams made birds leave their nests, bears weak up from hibernation and snakes eat their tails. The creature however, showed no mercy. Every “attack” was more and more vicious.

For 31 years I've spent springs and summers running like crazy. I have to admit that it’s a bit exhausting but I consider it as another form of exercise and that’s ok.

I always pretend to be a cloud. And they do not touch me)))

hahaha Maybe I'll try that as well! I'm a cloud from now on! :)

The most important thing: you should not forget to carry a blue balloon!

A best friend should do this:

Then the bees will not guess anything!

Oh great!! Thank you for your useful advice!! :))

My friends btw just enjoy seeing me that desperate. They find it very funny. Yeah haha. :P

so nice post dear i like it thanks for share
please give me upvote

I am sure it wasn't funny for you but as a reader I laughed a lot...

It wasn't funny at all for me but I'm glad that my post entertained you :)

I can understand you, I have a bit fear too, cause when I was young I had a terrible sting, my hand was swollen and was risked my life.

Oh God really?? That's exactly what I'm afraid of!

what about cockroaches and worms? I bet you love those creatures too :p

haha Sure :P They are disgusting but I'm not afraid of them :P

So according to a Buddhist friend you should politely ask them to leave. And it does seem to work with wasps and bumble bees but I have not managed to keep my cool and be polite to hornets yet!

Really? I will try to ask them politely, if that fails Im going for my plan B again (running)..
Hornets?? Are you kidding me?? Hornets are Satan in a bug!

Haha, yes plan B is always a good option :)
