Micro Pond Build : Week2

After digging out and insetting the container and levelling it. Its now time to plant up the container

First plant is a water lilly.. I've tied the rhizome to the basket to stop it floating up

Second plant is elodea crispa. This plant can be either rooted in gravel or free floating

Plus three more plants given to me by a friend, a reed and a floater, not sure what the other one is..these were all planted in gravel

The container is now staring to take shape

I've also manged to collect a pile of pebbles and more pea gravel. And grown a few mimulus guttatus for the next phase
