Now that's living! I've watched so many climbing documentaries in the last year I'm mixing them up at this point- who was it that survived an avalanche? That had to have been surreal.
Most of them do not seek them out like Muir did. There could have been some revisionism; riding the avalanche could have been an accident, but he seemed to be looking for one that day.
