Astute observation! Nature can always teach us things, even about ourselves. If humans are so intelligent why do we fall for the oldest tricks in the book? I really don't think we are that smart of a species to be honest. We have the capacity for great intelligence, empathy and compassion and understanding of our true spiritual selves, but how many of us actualize on those capabilities. It's like having a really powerful speaker but only turning the volume up to 2. Capacity and actually having those things are two different things. I hope we are able to shed labels, politics, religion, racism someday. those are all relics and chains of the past. I would like to think that we are above those things today.
