Cool post! I love the San Gabriel mountains. Crystal lake might not be a very impressive lake, but there are some pretty good hiking trails around there. I really like Mt. Islip and the Little Jimmy camp.
Yes the hiking was beautiful! I looked at your blog and you are doing some really great adventures, maybe I can find inspiration for excursions from your posts :) I followed you @derekrichardson
