California, East Sierra: Parker lake hike

East Sierra, East of California, is gorgeous place for nature lovers: mountains, lakes, hot springs...
My fiance and I, went few weeks ago near June lake and decided to go on a small Backcountry hike.

We decided to discover Parker lake, in Inyo National Forest which is a small hike of 4 miles starting from a dirt road leading you to the forest along a beautiful river.

There is not much elevation (672 ft), and the trail is beautiful as you are walking around pines and Aspen trees surrounded by wildflowers.
We arrived at that beautiful lake and set up our campsites and then continued to explore on non maintained trails that is leading up hill with cool view of the lake.

A great time alone in the Backcountry with the lake for ourselves made it a great weekend even if waking up with the snow (can never anticipate mountain weather) in the morning during summer
