Did you know?

in #nature8 years ago

"Whippomorpha is the clade containing the Cetacea (whales, dolphins, etc.) and their closest living relatives, the hippopotamuses". Hippos are 'water horses' and are more similar to Whales than they are to Pigs. Still, Pigs and Whales have more in common than most other animals. Fascinating. I am no Biologist but I am so curious I want to know more!
