Trekking day in Rila mountain, Bulgaria. Photo essay about nature's magnificence
Hello steemians. Today I'll show you the next piece of Rila mountain. These photos are from a gorgeous summer day. This was a long long trek with starting and ending point Kalin dam. We passed through Golyam Kalin peak, Ivan Vazov hut and Otovitsa peak, finished at Damga peak and than returned to Kalin dam, where was the car. This is a great trek which offers breathtaking views and I think the lowest point is around 2300 m asl. Which is great - whole day spent high in the mountain. It was a beautiful day!

7 Rila Lakes from a high point view . This a very popular destination in Rila. I don't like it, because it is too crowded there and you can't feel the mountain atmosphere with so many people around. That's why I think this route (just seeing them from above) is better way to enjoy the beauty of the lakes in the summer.

I went in Rila mountain last summer.The Seven Rila Lakes are without a doubt one of the most notable natural attractions . Their beauty touches the thousands of Bulgarian and international visitors who visit them.
