skåletons skybound

woodair synergy
of me & mine, rememb'ring—
flecked leaf.
speckled stem,
staircase to rotten remnants.

updrawn more
         the passage tumbles,
down more
                      the weak protest.
still-solid love, horse-blinding:
sacrificial-storied guest.

empathic needles terminate,
turned lightning-daggered bugs.
heaven-sent by torment—
flecked skin,
speckled bone.

I like the depth in the middle photo

"skåletons skybound" talks about healing wounds. Of the empathy with the feelings of two beings that enter into disputes for different factors, but deep down they love each other and it is this love that must prevail in spite of the blindness induced by anger:

still solid love, blinding of horses:
guest of history of sacrifice.

The pain passes and the calm arrives, especially if the discomfort, the resentment and the feelings that electrify and cause a kind of short circuit that burns and leaves deep scars rise towards the sky:

Empathetic needles end,
they became dagger-lightning bugs.
Sent by the sky for the torment
mottled skin,
mottled bone.

The lyrical voice is identified with the suffering of the "other" and, through empathy, suffers the history that it feels.
Beautiful form of etheric accompaniment and solidarity support for the "other" intertwined. Thanks @d-pend. I love you infinitely and I always feel close to you.

@d-pend,

Hey Dan.

To be, or not to be, that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles
And by opposing end them. To die—to sleep,
No more; and by a sleep to say we end
The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks
That flesh is heir to: 'tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wish'd. To die, to sleep;
To sleep, perchance to dream—ay, there's the rub:

The trees have got it all worked out ... it's not one or the other, life or death ... it's both. When conditions are right (summer, spring and fall), open your arms, grow and multiply. When conditions are wrong (winter), don't 'suffer the slings and arrows of life's outrageous fortune' ... go take a nap and wait it out.

This, too, shall pass.

There are things to ponder in this approach. Trees do end up living a long time, don't they?

Quill

Hi,

I like the contrast displayed in the photo of the tree branch. Your poem fits the picture well. That picture in the middle with the blue sky and intermingling branches has a life lesson to me about focus. The sky is the limit but if we focus on the bark we may never see the sky. Well today looks like the end of discount prices on Bitcoin. I don't know if this is a temporary jump of if 2019 will just sky rocket.
