A Closer Look at Pink Star Magnolia [Nature]
The Star Magnolia tree is bursting with flowers in the spring.
Most trees of this kind can only produce white flowers and buds. This variety of the Star Magnolia is unique, in that the petals are slightly pink when they first open.
These trees grow beside a business park along a main road. I enjoy seeing them on my way to work.
The trees were originally planted in front of these flagpoles, so it would look nice to view from the road.

Wow, that sight really is something else. It would be amazing to plant at least a dozen of those around here. We have many pink, violet and orange, even yellow flowered trees. But these have an elegant look, that place really stands out because of those trees, and they are pretty tall too. I'm happy that you enjoy the view as well.
