Summer at Belle isle
Hello everyone! This is a great place to go in Richmond, VA (RVA) in the USA. The James river runs right through The Downtown area of RVA. People get out on the big boulder rocks, swim and sunbathe all day! A natural place to go and get in the heart of nature.
Walking on the path to get to the bridge to take you over into Belle isle.
The suspension bridge is very tall and is suspended from the bridge above you where cats and trucks drive!
Walking to get to the river we passed many beautiful trees, berries and flowers!
Tree roots are simply amazing! So resilient!

What a lovely place to be on a beautiful Sunday afternoon! The weather was great!
Kids were jumping off massive tree into the river! Sounds like fun to me. Summer time is so hot and humid here that the water feels fantastic when you jump in!
I’m cooling off in the river! The water was awesome just like bath water temp- perfect!
A lot of people go in kayaks and river rafting in groups as well!
This is a perfect spot to reconnect with nature and others!
