What a beautiful bird. Around here we have a lot of redtail hawks. On more then one occasion I have seen one that is white or near white and found out that it is a similar occurence to the grey goosehawk. Apparently they are called leucistic Red-tailed Hawks.
Oh wow I just looked them up.
So whats the diff between leucistic and a morph.. is it that the morph becomes its own genetic species rather than a rare genetic anomaly?
I am not sure but they sure are interesting!
