Backpacking in Ojai

Last Thanksgiving, instead of hanging around the house we decided to escape the city and take the two hour drive North to Ojai for an overnight backpacking trip.

We also spent way too long trying to get a good picture and lighting for this guy.

Sometimes it's easy to forget how close such simple beauty is, especially when you're in the chaos of a city all the time.
