Pleistocene Park in Siberia: restoring a vanished Ice Age ecosystem
Project Pleistocene Park, located in faraway Siberia corner, near to the Arctic Ocean coast has a goal to rewild lifeless tundra to tundrosteppe - ecosysteme with mammal density higher, than in present Africa savanna.

Now Pleistocene Park is running a Kickstarter. This project will only be funded if it reaches its goal by Sun, April 9 2017 2:55 PM +03:00. As of today, about $60 000 of $106 000 collected with 11 days left.

I remember hearing about this on a science radio show, they even mentioned repopulating with cloned woolly mammoths. We now have the ability to bring back some of the species man made extinct.
