Start of spring

Today on Tuesday 20 March 2018 in the Northern hemisphere spring started !

Spring always starts in the northern hemisphere ( Where I live ) on March 20 and ends usually on June 21. The beginning of spring is always different. It can be very cold, like today we had -3 Celsius this morning. But New life and New little plants are showing.

In the coming decades, spring will always start on 20 March.

Astronomically, spring begins when the day and the night are both equally long.
During the spring, the days are getting pretty longer.

The sun passes through the vernal equinox and the day and night are about the same length. Thats what Our bodys also feel. Less people are depressief When spring starts.

Spring ends with the summer sets in on the 21 June. That is the moment when the sun is highest in the sky.
