A walk in the park :-) - westfalenpark dortmund impressions and photos

You looking for some relaxing hours? Or a little bit of fun, or want to make some animalphotography because you love the nature?

Then i can advise you the „Dortmunder Westfalenpark“. It’s a green heart in the middle of the dirty loud and fast Ruhrgebiet, where I live.

The park is over 70 hectare big and counts to the biggest parks inside of city’s in Europe !

we have had a nice walk about 3hours. And we didn’t see all the specials and even all the corners.

Numerous animals are living in the park. Here are some of them, and even not all:

For them who loves more art, there are also a few stations:

This park is really a green paradise and a relaxing zone from the stressy day, just sit down on the endless grass ...

Or if you like in a little corner on a lovely bench.

If you like more action :-) or have kids, They have many playgrounds.

Even for the big kids ;-) like me. If you don’t want to walk, you can take a train 🚂.

Further countless flowers 🌺 are in the park.
Especially roses 🌹 !

So if you ever in Germany - Ruhrgebiet, get yourself in this park ;-) you will not regret this.

In The moment the price is about 3,5 for a day ticket. And 1,5€ after 18:00. in my eyes not to much for that fun :-)

A anecdote, in the park a couple asks us, if we know where the exit is :-D the park is so big and has over I don’t know 5/6 of them. They could not find one Exit :-)

Ps: if you got this card, the entrance is for free. I will try to post in next time other free experiences which you get with this card.
