This Flower Will Fade, But I Know Something That Will Last Forever
It is a beautiful Sunday here in Panama. Warm, sunny with a few clouds in the sky and a slight breeze. Not bad!
Isaiah 40:8
The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.
Soon this flower will wither away and die. It will fall to the ground and be forgotten. However, the Word of God will never fade away. That is a comforting thought for me!
Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
The Word of God not only will not fade away, it is alive and active! It works on our lives and judges our thoughts and attitudes. Wow! I hope we take the Word seriously and allow it to work in our lives.

I want warm and flowers. It's 15 °F here, and the only things growing are ice crystals and snow drifts! Love the flower.

What a beautiful flower. So bright and vibrant. But yes, like you said, it will soon die and be forgotten. God's word, however, is always with us. Good reminder!

Awesome Sunday reflection. We just got home from church. Meeting wit folks who are doing Bible in 90 days with us.
That's really cool. How is it going? It's probably good to have a few other people doing it with you to keep you accountable. How much reading is that a day?
12 pages per day. It is going well. It should be a fun way to read.
Oh nice. That's not too bad. I have a cousin who did the Bible in 60 days I believe. He said it was pretty awesome. I did the Bible in about a year once or twice. :) Doing it in a short time would make all of it be pretty new when you finished. I'm excited to hear how it goes for you!
We do a weekly get together to review the reading for the week. So far so good.
