Baby squirrel update🍼
Well tomorrow makes one week since i found this sweet little boy💙 . He is doing great! His eyes opened last week Saturday, the day after i found him . I would call that perfect timing because i was the first thing he saw .😍
He is on puppy milk and has been feeding more and more in each sitting. The first 24 hours he didnt get any milk just the pedialyte to hydrate him and get some energy. By sunday he was drinking milk and about 4 mls.
By Tuesday he jumped to 11 mls each feeding 😃. He keeps taking off his splint so he doesnt have it on anymore. But he is walking on the foot just fine💙. He goes to work with me each day and gets lots of attention from customers and my colleagues. And i think ive picked up a name for him.... it will be....🥁 .. peanut 🥜
In this picture you can see his leg is a little deformed. But not much can be done because the vets here wont work on him😭 they said because he is a rodent. But im happy that with what little help i was able to do for him he will make it.

Awww cute!!! Too bad they don't stay that way. They grow up to be pesky squirrels LOL. Keep him away from them snakes or he might become a meal.
I have t seen any snakes yet haha but he for sure will be safe . He will get to play in out screened in porch.😭
