GREEN HOUSE EFFECT
The rise in atmospheric temperature is known as green house effect . our atmosphere is guarded by a ozone layer which resists the entrance of ultra violet rays from the sun . but deforestation around the world and increasing number of engines vehicles are increasing the amount of carbon-di-oxide gas around the atmosphere . the heat of the sun directly entering into the atmosphere of the earth. so the temperature of the earth is become hotter day by day. for the same reason , the ice on the polar regions is also melting.
if the process continues for a long time the layer of the water in the oceans will rise day by day and thereby flood coastal areas and farmland will go under water. this the alarming news for wold.
climatologists predict that mid way through the next years, temperatures may rise as much 4 degree tem. this could catastrophically mankind's ability to grow foods , destroy, or severely damage
the wild life and wilderness.

NASA have developed a spray with aluminium in it they will spray it into the ionosphere & it will reflect the sun to combat global warming. Not sure it can do much for the air quality.
