Normally birds nests are in large branches. But not with bird nests in Austin, Texas. They have 5 giants of giant size. Eits, this is not a real nest, but the work of an artist.
Collected by Travel from various sources, Thursday (19/4/2018) this giant bird's nest is named Yippee Ki Yay Stickwork. This artwork can be found at Pease Park, Austin, Texas.
This giant bird nest is an art project by artist Patrick Dougherty. The bird's nest uses 10 tons of twigs which he collects with 200 other volunteers from various cities. Then he sums it into five bird-shaped artworks.
Patrick worked on this artwork at the request of Pease Park Conservancy. He gets inspired by the environmental guides, the city and the people of Austin. The structure of this nature is estimated to last for two years.
This artwork can be visited by anyone. Visitors are allowed to touch, even enter the nest.
Anytime can visit here, even at night. Because there is a light that will illuminate this object. One more thing, this artwork is very instagramble!
