If the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe, then man would have only four years of life left. No more bees, no more pollination, no more plants, no more animals, no more man.

Hello lovely Steemians !

I can still remember very good, that when I was a young boy there were bees everywhere, flying over meadows that were full of flowers in all possible colours. Not only bees but insects of all kind were there as a beautiful enrichment of the nature wherever you looked.

Unfortunately the world drasticly changed in just a few years due to some bad habits of us humans. Forrest were cut down to an far to high extend and most meadows with their rich colours and various animals of all kind are only left simply green. We reached a world where agriculture is highly globalised and industrialised and has no place for wild flowers and blossoms, but for monocultures, insectizides of all types and genetic engineering. Also most forrest sre simply cut down to have agriculture that is just used to grow food for far animals that create even more problems on earth .. but this is another sad story.

At the moment all over the world bees slowly disappear and became a rare sight. Approximately half of the earths population is already gone. Politics try to neglect that cutting down forrests, pollution of the enviroment, use of pesticides and the disappearance of wild flowers might be a reasons, but I think it is kind of obvious they just dont care and do not want to be blamed for their methods.

As you all know bees are pollinators which are responsible for pollenising all the plants on the world. But what will happen if this suddenly stops one day ? Might this be the end of the diversity of nature ? Will fruits be exclusive for some rich people which can afford it ? Will the colours we still can see everywhere get way for a simple green ? Will the children of our children still know flowers or even an apple ?

It is hard for us "small" people to do something about all those problems but there is one thing that is quite simple .. beefriendly flowers, which we could grow everywhere we go, on plain green meadows or on our balconies. A large variety of different flowers and plants that are not only a benefit for bees but all possible insects. Also herbs such as thyme, basil, coriander, chives and lemon balm are possible and also quite usable in our kitchen. Unfortunately most people nowadays do not even know those apart from the backside of their supermarket packages. If we do not start to respect nature and its variety again and try to live in symbiosis .. and do not stop to give a shit about poor mother nature we might be the glorious generation that will ruin our planet.

I found this picture above in the intenet where you can see how people in china already starded to pollenise their trees by hand with a long stick as they have huge problems with their bee population : (https://www.fdesouche.com/606921-dans-le-sichuan-des-hommes-abeilles-pollinisent-la-main-les-vergers) .. Some of you might know the old story of the "Bees and the flowers" that is used for sexual education of children. It woul be a pitty if we have to change this in the future to the "The guy with his pollination stick" !!

"If the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe, then man would have only four years of life left. No more bees, no more pollination, no more plants, no more animals, no more man."

Very clean. I love the Mr. Einstein quote. So concerned about our little pollinators. I planted a paradise this year to try to make them come and visit.

A paradise for bees sounds so nice ^^ .. I hope to see it one day ;)
