RE: 🌿 5 Questions for @Ravenking13: Alchemistry ⚗️ Rose, Cannabis, Spygaric Tinctures, Poetry and More🌿
we look at correspondences between things, inherently navigating through systems reminiscent of fractals yet at their core inherently “ONE”.
I adore this - like pulling apart the universe and reassembling it to find out what we knew all along. It's funny the different pathways we take to find this essential truth.
Death had become a dear Friend and Guide through Life, no longer the fierce enemy, the unknown that strikes fear.
What an extraordinary journey. It must have been so hard for you to lose your father at such a young age, and so close to him. I'm super close to my own Dad but I'm older now and more aware of life's cycles. Didn't make it easier last year when we thought we'd lose him to cancer, but he recovered - and now I think I went through that grief to become more aware of Death and the role it inevitably plays in all our brilliant lives. It's something we all have to go through, huh.
I'm really excited about recieving my tincture and I promise to respect and revere it's magic. The process it goes through just blows my mind, and now I know a little bit more about you, I'm even more in awe.
I didn't realise the adrenals are linked to Saturn and the root chakra. It makes perfect sense - I can suffer from adrenal fatigue, and that's often when everything is happening in my head and I can't ground myself. Since I've been focussing on this chakra I've been a lot better (as well as diet too, and herbs). I love that alchemy provides another system and way of looking at health.
You refer to Culpeper - I really want to order that book and dive into it now. I'd forgotten about him. We used to live up the road from this natural hole in the ground or valley of sorts I suppose, but more crater like - they called it Culpeper's Dish. Our first picture of married life was taken there and it brings to mind a lot of memories of exploring wild british plants and herbs. Many years ago now.
Thanks so much for this great interview! I really enjoyed reading your answers as I formatted and looked for appropirate photos.
Yes I find it sad that our culture has such an inherent fear of death, instead of seeing it as a foundation upon which we can find back to the values that reside in our heart!
Super glad to hear how they will be received as well, may they be gifts of blessings untold!
Yeah awesome you see you worked that out very intuitively, I find through my own work with the system and my own health/being, they are fascinatingly intuitive to work with and begin to make a lot of sense as one deepens once use of the correspondences!
And super awesome your connection in how you know about culpeper! That is a very warm memory and seemingly teeming with life, I would say get that book and bring back a deepening relationship to the plants and they return to us ways to deepen our relationships with that much has grown old or stale, transformation instead of throwing away old gifts that we already have :D
Thank you for hosting me I really appreciate it, and it was a pleasure to answer your questions! I love how you set it all up and all the photos you used, beautiful work!!
Thanks so much. It was a pleasure highlighting what you do.
