RE: Personality Types & The Tarot
Fascinating! I always shied away from tarot and have never really understood it, but like any 'divination' type tool (I was really into runes for a while) they help us, as you say:
gain a deeper level of personal gnosis in order to heal our psycho-social and emotional wounds.
I found the same learning about SPS this past week. It seems a bit of a theme - personal gnosis through self study. Little revelations from cards, conversations, theories, science - and the cross over between all of them.
Why I moved away years ago from ‘working’ as an Astrologer or Tarot Reader was that everyone who came wanted to know whether their boyfriend was cheating on them, or whether they were going to win the lottery.
Inevitably, if you’re interested in this stuff from a personal healing/growth/evolution/development perspective, you’ll just engage deeply with the systems and come to a point of personal gnosis.
If we assume everything is physiological, then all we end up doing is medicating ourselves, and never engaging with our psyches.
