Flowering occurs from May to June, fruit ripening, from June to July. Grushka grows exclusively in coniferous forests, often found in thickets of dwarf cedar forests, and extremely rarely in deciduous forests. Their habitats are the Far East, Siberia, the Caucasus and Central Asia. The plant is harvested in the usual way, it is possible to collect and harvest in large volumes.

Grushanka refers to medicinal plants. Since ancient times, traditional healers used their stalk, leaves, flowers (much less frequently, the root and grains) to treat various diseases.

The leaves, flowers and stem of the plant contain tannins, iridoids (monotropin), triterpenoids (tarakserol), phenols, ericoline, naphthoquinone, chymilfilin, as well as vitamins, minerals, essential oils and resins, which explains the incredible possibilities of the gaulteria. Steroids, glycosides, quinones and organic acids were found in the roots.

The plant is harvested during the flowering period. To do this, the raw materials are placed in a thin layer (approximately three centimeters) and dried carefully in well-ventilated rooms, avoiding direct sunlight.

In folk medicine, pear is highly regarded as a powerful stimulator of the gonads, which makes it an excellent tool for the treatment of male and female infertility, whose causes are associated with inflammatory processes of the reproductive system.

In modern gynecology, grushanka is part of the medications for the treatment of infertility, chronic adnexitis, endometriosis, tube obstruction and other diseases.

It is worth noting that herbal treatment is a long process, therefore, to achieve results, it is recommended to maintain a course of treatment, which lasts from 3 to 6 months.
