Natural Medicine: CBD infused lotion

Hi fellow Steemians / Natural medicine enthusiasts,

It's been some time since I formulated a natural medicine post but the events of late have really motivated me to come up with one!

I've been neck-deep in some DIY construction renovation projects around our house and with those projects and manual labor when you aren't in your teens, there come some aches and pains you weren't expecting!

One of the things that I've been afflicted with is pain at the base of the top of my hand/wrist (posterior for you healthcare folks!) with flexion and extension. I'm attributing this to the years of skateboarding and snowboarding falling on my hands often, I can remember several times where my wrist was in bad shape for a couple days to a week but never got it officially looked at.
The pain started to become apparent in the past year or so with different strenuous activities. I think it's associated with some tendonitis, when I took a week off work and didn't really do much DIY project work it felt great.

I was visiting some family and one of my family members was telling me about a CBD lotion they made themselves and of course I was intrigued because I already use CBD oil drops nightly to help with sleeping. I was telling him about the pain in my wrist and he gave me a chunk of the stuff he made which was great.

He made it with great ingredients, coconut oil, jojoba oil, beeswax, shea butter and of course CBD oil.

My wife also picked up a free sample of a local company's CBD oil they were giving out at an event. We didn't find out exactly what ingredients were included in this oil but it's more of a traditional creamy lotion rather than a thick paste as the homemade one above.

This one is decent, although I don't know if it works as well for me as the homemade kind does.

Pain relief!
I put the cream on my wrist and I got more flexibility in my wrist than I've had for close to a year! I was completely changed, I could only flex/extend my wrist about 10-15 degrees without pain, after using the lotion I could do 35 degrees! I've been trying to address it via diet but since I can't afford to take a full fasting regimen of 3-4 weeks I knew I wasn't going to have much success in that avenue. (I do intermittent fasting and it works well, but I'm not prepared to do an intense fast) I was so excited to finally find something that actually worked for me that the second thing I thought of besides telling my wife how much success I had with it, was to share it here on the natural medicine community on Steemit!
I did try the other cream from the local company but I didn't find it worked as well for me as the homemade one did. It must have been made with different strains than the one I got from a family member was. It probably helps with other things but I don't know what they are as of yet.

For those who don't know, the CBD oil itself is not the psychoactive kind that people associate cannabis with. It is the one that lacks the THC that people smoke cannabis for.
