This natural medicine seems to be magical. Even the most fierce pharma preachers use it without realizing that this is a natural medicine.
Why is PO-HO-OIL so popular
When you have a cold, sinus infection, laryngitis or otitis media. (why does this have to be over complicated in English medical lingo?) Then Po-ho-oil is a magical remedy. However it should not be used when pregnant or by children below 4 years of age.
What is PO-HO-OIL
Ingredients:
50% Mentha piperita oleum
30% Eucalyptus globulus oleum
14% Juniperis communis oleum
4% Carvi oleum
2% Foeniculum vulgare oleum
How does PO-HO-OIL work
That takes some research. Lets see how far I can get without any medical background.
According to the almighty wikipedia :
Mentha piperita oleum makes it easy to cough up slime
Eucalyptus globulus oleum makes slime come loose and has antiseptic properties
Juniperis communis oleum and Carvi oleum have relaxing properties.
Foeniculum vulgare oleum
PO-HO-OIL does not seem to have any known side effects. it just works where it needs to work. NICE!
Just keep it away from children as they are far more sensitive, PO-HO-OIL is pretty strong stuff. Maybe I'm a bit sensitive myself, this stuff just punches me in the face whenever I come near it.
How PO-HO-OIL is used
Boil some water and put it in a big bowl just one drop can be enough, though some brave people may want to use 3 drops or even 5.
Some people just put one drop in a tissue and place the in the far corner of the room at night that seems to be enough to keep the airways clear. Yet it can destroy the night-rest of other people in the house.
Your post looks so pretty with the dividers ad banners! When I got bronchitis as a kid I used to do a steam bath with a similiar oil. I remember it was super powerful stuff!!!

I'm always very reluctant to breath in when i'm around this oil... it really open up the airways with a big impact
