National karma of Texas as a state of friendship
The Buddha teaches the procedure for accepting the ten good karmas as precepts, and describes the requitals for violating these precepts. The Buddha teaches the dragon-king Saragra the benefits of the ten good karmas. Good Karma, persisted in, can thwart the reaping of bad Karma, or as some Western scholars prefer to say 'action influence', is certainly an intricate law whose working is fully comprehended only by a Buddha.
Sūtra of Accepting the Ten Good Karmas as Precepts
Statements of statesmen in congregations may become aware of four out of the ten ill karmas:
(4) false speech,
(5) divisive speech,
(6) abusive speech,
(7) suggestive speech,
And what is the difference of a statesman and a congressman as one may question to discern heart and mind of leaders of people in expressions of humanitarian art to address the karma of a state or national karma, particularly from a state named after the native word for 'friends'.
