Experts: what's happening with the hole in the ozone layer ()

NASA researchers have made an unexpected announcement about the huge ozone debris crack.
According to the latest NASA data, the Earth stratospheric ozone hole has reached the smallest dimension in the last 29 years.

This year, the ozone-depleted fissure, which protects us from dangerous radiation, stretched over 19.7 million square kilometers.

It seems very much, but its size has fallen over last year by up to 3.4 million square kilometers, writes Science Alert. The largest dimension was recorded in 2000, when the hole was 29.8 million square kilometers.

The ozone hole is above the Antarctic Consciousness and occurs every year in September, when the sun's rays touch this area again and cause chemical reactions with substances released by humans into the atmosphere, and they destroy ozone molecules.

The crack was first observed in 1985. Experts believe that, given the way the hole is getting smaller, it may disappear around 2070.
