The anime industry is now growing rapidly along with the number of successful anime series in the global market. Well-known streaming services such as Netflix to Disney are investing in the anime industry.
Anime fans are of course always looking for new series to enjoy. Online search is the most common way to find new series or series you want to watch.
Recently, a company in the UK, Broadband Choices, compiled data on the most searched anime online in 2022. The data was collected from 146 countries in the world.
From this data, major anime are included in the list of most searches such as Naruto, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan, Death Note, to My Hero Academia.
From the data that has been collected, Broadband Choices found the Naruto anime to be the most searched online series in 2022. Naruto became the winner of the most online searches in 93 countries in the world.
Online searches for this Naruto anime are found the most in the United States and Brazil. Based on Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, searches for Naruto anime accounted for more than 16 percent.
Followed by the Pokemon anime whose searches reached 8.8 percent. This Pokemon anime search is the most found in Australia.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba took third place in the most online searches in 2022. Demon Slayer searches hit 7.8 percent with Japan reportedly the highest search for the series.
Broadband Choices doesn't just report the top three anime searches online for 2022. There are still other anime that are included in most searches.
