Maternity Leave - Day 2
My puppy (really a 16 year old woman) sums up the day. My backs still not great, so Peters still on fulltime dad and carer duty.
He's doing a wonderful job keeping it all together and making sure everyones fed.
We did have to use Hoot as a distraction but that brought us the time needed to get tomorrow's Penang curry ready.
I did miss Tumble tots but I still have two weeks to see how far Thana has developed. Not to worry the time wasn't wasted, instead I plugged on with my over zealous sewing project. I finished the two "a"'s, one while they were out and the other while he had his nanna nap.
Oh, how I so just wanted to nap with them but limited productive time before Christmas and due to my inability to sew with a super interested toddler crawling over me, that's just not possible at this stage.

Thank you, we made it through the saturday which was a huge day with a toddler and a sore back. I should be all good by mid week. Just more rest needed

Haha not kitchen, sympathy pains, i hoped they were better. Mine is feeling tender but not as painful which is great.
Yeah my stomach is an artwork of scar tissue and medical crap. Make life fun.

Haha re the insta photo, my insta account is set up mainly for my ostomy advocacy work, hence the image, haha. Underwear gets more awareness for some reason lol....
Im a hand sewer so no machine, just needles which can get rather stabby mainly me while trying to protect him. I've been making theses...
It will be his name at the end, only got a t and h to go and then all the vehicles to attach haha. I got a car done yesterday. Oh the fun.

Nice, i never knew about that tag but would be good for this project. Besides sewing at high school i have never done it either. Its a live and learn experience atm haha.

The fun of having a toddler being just as interested as you are when making something. I had to stop crocheting for a while when my kids were at that stage. There was no making anything. The yarn would be all unraveled, knotted and tangled. You'd think it was a dog or a cat creating that mess lol.

Haha so true, they wake and all stops or else its a mess. I haven got into crocheting yet but have some friends that can make amazing things. Not sure ill make a hobby out of it but for now its fun to make something for him.
I am sure he will love it! Nothing else like it ^_^
