Good evening fellow Nigerians, I bring you greetings from za other side.

I'm in a very good mood today, I wun even lie. This country is making me laugh, most times when I hear the name I think it's a joke. To many citizens of this country some of the news we hear make us angrier because how much it spoils our international reputation.

There is a matter I would like to discuss about and I want to indulge you too.

It's about the Special Anti-robbery squad(SARS). I know that mere mention of this name instills fear on adults especially male ones. You can scare children with the army or even the police force but just tell an adult that SARS has come to the neighbourhood where he lives, he will start assessing his life by himself.

This special unit has over time become one of the most abused because they are always everywhere most times never doing their job. I have never heard of a robbery operation that was intercepted by SARS (which should be their job),

The most beautiful thing about SARS is that all other paramilitary force can be found among them. Although they can decide to change department at anytime.

There is EFCC in SARS, these ones are the most popular ones because they specialize in driving around town arresting any young male with dreadlocks and white polo. If you meet these two criteria, then congratulations you are a "G boy". No explanation is entertained

Also there is NAFDAC and NDLEA these ones specialize in locking up chemist stores who refuse to pay dues. I wonder what they know about drugs and pharmaceuticals.

Then there is the moral support group. These ones can arrest you for not dressing well according to their standards. But the funny part is, they never make this standards public so that they can keep on arresting people for no reason. They can arrest you for not tucking in your shirt or for not wearing a good tie on a suit (just exaggerating though).

But on a serious note, if the Special Anti-robbery Squad can stick to their jobs instead, they will be doing Nigerian a whole lot of good, because in the real sense they are actually what they were meant to be fighting. Crime and corruption.
