Hello, thanks to @ for your interesting contest, I would like to introduce you on this occasion to @: The Legend of the Gorgonian Sisters which has its origin in ancient Greece, where it was believed that the Gorgonians lived in the land of the Hyperboreans, placing this land on the shores of the Baltic Sea, between Poland and Finland.
According to the literature, Gorgons are horrifying and cruel beings and it was Athena, who was completely furious because Medusa had fallen in love with Poseidon, who punished her by turning her into a horrible snake-haired creature, just like her older sisters.
Of these three gorgons, the most famous was Medusa, the only deadly gorgon.
According to mythology, the hero Perseus, with the help of the gods, killed Medusa using a shield with a mirror brush. Eventually, Perseus used Medusa's amputated head to petrify his enemies, and then offered it to Athena, who placed the head of the jellyfish on her shield, the Aegis. It is said that Medusa's blood raised the dead.
